Accessories Haul.

As you can see I’ve been on a little (huge) accessories haul recently. I originally went to get some more earrings – and well I suppose I did get what I wanted, but these other things took my fancy – and that’s okay – a girl can treat herself, right?

The first thing I picked up was this leather watch from Topshop. I have to be really careful with watches because I have small wrists. But the beauty of this watch is that the strap already has a hole it in that will allow the watch to fit my wrist, so there’s no need for that awkward “trying-to-make-it-fit-but-it-won’t” stuff.

The gold detailing and the pattern on the strap makes it a great accessory for mixing and matching and adding a little umph to an outfit in my experience!

I also picked up some decor for my neck as I don’t have any statement necklaces.

I didn’t want anything too flashy, because that’s just not me, but when I saw this piece I knew that it was the right kind of statement for me – two tone colour.

The necklace is a dual pendant – with the pink and blue part hanging where a normal necklace would and the black jewelled part hanging a little lower. It’s a stunning piece!

The last item I picked up from Topshop was a set of earrings from the Freedom range that you can see on the first picture above. They are very different to what I’d normally go for. They’re simple and statement worthy at the same time, in my opinion anyway, something that I can’t normally find so I stick to simple.

I also went to Primark and Accessorize on my accessories haul travels.

I picked up the earrings in the top left hand corner in the first picture above and then these huge gold ones in Primark.

What struck me about these was the detail on them. They’re perfect for summer!

Last but certainly not least from Primark I got the following rings which came in packs.

I went to Accessorize too simply because it’s my favourite shop for necklaces. I always go there for my necklaces because I can find designs that are meaningful to me – which is why I purchase the three necklaces you’ll soon see below. If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram then you’ll have seen these already!

The first pendant is what’s known as a Hamsa hand. It is a symbol that holds true to me as a Buddhist as it’s about protection from evil. It’s encrusted with silver jewels and has a red jewel in the middle which adds something different to the piece. The mix of colours is something that struck me with this too so it’s great for when I want a little bit of detail in my outfit.

The second pendant is a silver pendant with the initial “S” and a small heart. With my name being Sophie, that’s primarily why I got it – of course! This is available with other initials.

And finally, the third pendant is a gold necklace with my star sign Taurus on. I also got this because it shows the star formation of my sign on a circled disk. It’s something different again which is what I look for in my accessory pieces.
